Our Lady of America

"I am Our Lady of America. I desire that my children honor me, especially by the purity of their lives."
~The first words spoken by Our Lady of America, September 26, 1956

"It is holy families that will save the Nation, save the world, and bring about the peace so long desired," said Sister Mildred Mary Neuzil, visionary of the Our Lady of America devotion which began in 1956.

This devotion is especially significant in these times of war, terror, family breakdown, sexual promiscuity and abortion, in what Pope John Paul II called a Culture of Death.

The Blessed Virgin Mary appeared in the United States and revealed her title as “Our Lady of America, The Immaculate Virgin.” She also said, “I am the Immaculate One, Patroness of your land.” She appeared to Sister Mildred Neuzil in several apparitions in the United States during the latter half of the 20th century.

Archbishop Raymond L. Burke
, a noted canon lawyer and the current Prefect of the Apostolic Signatura--the highest judicial authority of the Catholic Church besides the Pope himself, stated in a letter to the USCCB on May 31, 2007, that the devotion to Our Lady of America was canonically approved.
